The iPad Air is exactly 1 pound (1.05 pounds for the LTE model) while the Xperia Z2 is 15.5 ounces. Thicknesses are 0.29 inch and 0.24 inch … so…. the winner is Sony!!!

The Xperia Z2 Tablet takes advantage of Sony's world-renowned display technology that makes out of it a very desirable device.

As with Sony's other recent flagship devices, the Xperia Z2 Tablet's 10.1 in display features Sony's full HD Triluminos screen technology along with the firm's new Live Colour LED technology, which it claims makes colours appear more rich and natural.

Performance and operating system

Inside, a cutting-edge quad-core processor serves up blistering speeds and stunning graphics. The Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor with a quad-core 2.3 GHz Krait CPU that Sony said promises higher performance with lower battery drain.

Unfortunately, the tablet seems to have some trouble holding a charge on standby, same old story!

A Sony spokesperson said: "Xperia Z2 Tablet can spend less time charging with the integrated Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 technology, which enables devices to charge up to 75 percent faster than devices without the fast-charging technology."

Now, let’s experience the best of Sony in a tablet and even take a bath with it!
